About the Role
Learning Vision's Early Years programme focuses on providing young children with a nurturing and stimulating environment during their formative years. The Early Years Teacher will support children's development through age-appropriate, child-centred learning experiences, care routines and engaging activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities for infants and toddlers.
- Create a warm, safe and nurturing environment that supports children's physical, social, emotional and cognitive development.
- Provide responsive care and support according to each child's individual needs and developmental stage.
- Encourage children's emerging communication and language skills through songs, stories, conversations and interactive activities.
- Organise age-appropriate activities that promote physical development, creativity, exploration and sensory learning.
- Observe and document children's development, learning progress and interests.
- Use observations to plan suitable learning experiences and provide appropriate support.
- Establish positive and trusting relationships with children and their families.
- Communicate regularly and professionally with parents regarding children's daily experiences and development.
- Maintain a safe, hygienic and well-organised learning environment.
- Support children's daily routines, including meals, rest, hygiene and personal care.
- Work closely with fellow educators and centre management to ensure effective classroom practices.
- Participate in centre activities, events and professional development programmes.
- Follow all relevant health, safety, safeguarding and centre policies.
